I came back to the city and ran around for a couple hours then had an interview for a job uptown at 6:30. After my interview I hung out at my friend Elissa's place then went to Provocateur. Nothing really interesting happened...only lesson I learned is to distance yourself from people who say their your "friend" Why do so many people in nightlife have alternative motives? Why can't people just be cool? I'm not a naturally vindictive person so it's annoying that I always have to think like one to protect myself and understand people's actions. I guess it can't always be sunshine and butterflies.
I went to Elissa's real quick then went for a long walk to Artichoke to get something to eat. It was really nice out, I then went to Meatpack and ate my slice of pizza and listened to Eric Clapton and just people watched. I got up and walked home then got ready because my friend was PICKING ME UP and then we were gonna head to Electric Room. Having a friend pick you up and drive you to a club is better than sex sometimes. It just gave me the motivation to get ready and go out. So my friend came, we drove to Electric Room and blasted music and were able to get a spot right outside Dream. Lucky night. We decided to have a couple drinks at the bar area in the hotel before heading to Electric Room. Does anyone else think walking down that ramp is difficult? I always feel like I'm going to be "that girl" that trips and plummets to her death. I've gotten lucky so far but I know its going to happen. Electric Room was packed and the music was reaaaally good. We stayed pretty late but my stomach felt weird we left and just kicked it because I wasn't feeling so hot
Grabbed lunch at this diner then met up with Julian and Doriet in the lower east side. After catching up, me and Doriet decided to walk all the way home because it was so nice out. We didn't make it a block before we were sitting at a bar having a glass of wine. It was only 4 bucks though..after that we went home and parted ways. I got ready and went to PHD "brunch" - not sure brunch exists at 7 PM but its New York City so anything goes. It was a lot of fun and I ran into a bunch of my friends. For some reason I decided to leave and go alllllllllll the way to 111th street and hang out with my friend Jason. Dumb move..we went to this bar..then Soho Grand..and then the lower east side. It was just a stupid night..just running around and not having that much fun. But that's Saturday for you.
I went for a really long walk and then went to bed.
